After searching for an dance teacher we found Kasturi Salankai Oli Köln which is one of the most famous dance schools in Germany lead by Guru Smt. Savithry Emmanuel (M.A in Dance). Since that day I am student of her's since almost 20 years now. Having a very talented and passionate Guru is the most important condition to learn the art. In that case I have been very lucky.

 

Year by year many stage performances were held and  a Diploma course of 8 years was passed. In addition to that I did my "Aathrughai" which is a form of traininig in order to become a teacher was done. The traditional "Arangetram" which is the stage debut for a dancer was successfully done in 2008.

 

The last years I was focusing very much on my professional studies were I did a B.A in International Marketing. Nonetheless, I gave classes and choreoghraphed and performed in the meanwhile. Because at some point you realize its a part of you and belongs to your personality.

 

So I take it as my task to pass on the joy that I feel while dancing.  May the next generations also have the pleasure to feel the pure traditional art in its unique form.Moreover, I think it is every dancer's dream to spread the art to many people as possible because it is beuatiful and lets you forget the reality for the moment.
